The Giacomo Hotel

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Giacomo. We were in room 507. We could see the fireworks from our window. There is also a Skyview lounge area that allows you to see the skyline of the cities. The walk from the hotel to the falls was very easy and pleasant for both the American and Canadian side. The staff were warm and welcoming. The free parking (in a secure gated lot just across the street) and complementary buffet breakfast were also an added bonus!

My husband booked our room for our Anniversary. We’ve never stayed here before and We loved absolutely everything and everybody at The Giacomo!! We will be back! Breakfast was great. Coffee fresh and delicious! The architecture wonderful. The quietness of the building was amazing. Built in 1929 and you know it. You feel it. Solid and sound proof. Walking distance to the river and falls. So close!! Locked and secure parking was a great bonus! Cant wait to return!!

My wife and I recently stayed at The Giacomo from February 28th to March 1st, and we had an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. The staff were professional, warm, and genuinely attentive. We were also incredibly appreciative of the room upgrade—it truly made our weekend special and elevated the entire experience. What no one at the hotel knew was that our 16-year-old Chihuahua had passed away just a few days before our stay. Our trip was a last-minute decision to get away and clear our minds. The kindness and care shown by the staff, along with the thoughtful upgrade, made a meaningful difference during what was a difficult time for us. Please extend our sincere gratitude to everyone involved. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere at the hotel was second to none. I have already recommended The Giacomo to several friends and colleagues, and we will absolutely be returning. Thank you again for such a memorable stay.

Such a great stay at Giacomo Hotel. Highly recommended this as your go to spot when visiting Niagara Falls. Walking distance to most attractions, safe parking in the gated lot across the street, historic / elegant feel inside the hotel and viewing it from outside. The breakfast was delicious. We loved the potatoes and French toast. The rooms were nicely decorated and we liked that music was playing when we entered and a customized welcome letter awaited us. The brownies in the lobby were delicious and the lemon water was much appreciated. Don’t miss the lounge on the 19th floor to get an amazing view while there. This is the only place we will stay when in the area going forward. Especially since we can bring our pup.

On our short trip to Buffalo (29 July to 31 July 2025), we chose The Giacomo for our stay. The location is excellent — very close to Niagara Falls, and surrounded by plenty of restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. We were given a suite on the 16th floor, which was quite spacious. However, there were a few drawbacks: a- There was no phone to connect with the reception. b- The room lighting was very dim. c- We noticed some insects in the room. From the window, you can enjoy a beautiful view — a dense mist rising from Niagara Falls and even fireworks at night, which was truly a highlight. The reception experience was just average; the staff seemed a bit impolite at times. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a few small disappointments, but the location and views definitely made it memorable.

Awesome hotel! I was planning my first ever visit in United States and I wanted to find the best hotel with the best view. Giacomo hotel is one of the tallest hotels on the United States side and you can get an amazing view towards the Falls. Especially, If you book the premium apartments. This hotel has an apartment that spans half the entire floor plate allowing you to view almost all the directions. I highly recommend this place. Their service is outstanding. The apartments are wonderful. I would stay here again if I came to the US.

By far the cleanest, nicest smelling hotel we've ever stayed in. The whole staff was so very attentive and polite. The robes were a lovely touch. The breakfast was good and hot, eggs, sausage, waffles the whole works. If you needed anything that wasnt out for breakfast, the breakfast attendant was right on it. Nowadays it can be hard to find such attentive employees. We stayed in the king room with jetted tub for a much needed couple nights away.We will be back.

This was a beautiful hotel for the last leg of our honeymoon! The room was beautiful, the breakfast buffet was warm and good for a gluten free allergy. The front desk staff was so welcoming and actually a hoot to talk too! Golden, the bartender, made some of the best drinks I've had in a while. She was absolutely wonderful and I would've stayed downstairs all night if it's not for the fact I was on my honeymoon lol 10/10 recommend
